• Piedmont Park Dog Park

Piedmont Park Dog Park is an off-leash park in the downtown area of Atlanta, Georgia. Dogs must be leashed when entering or exiting the off-leash area of the park. Owners must clean up after their pets. No more than 3 dogs per person are permitted in the park. There is a specific area designated for small dogs under 30 pounds. No puppies under 16 weeks old are permitted in the off-leash portion of the park. The park has benches available for owners to sit while their dogs play.

• Perk N Pooch

Perk-N-Pooch is a dog grooming and coffee café in Sandy Springs that was started eight years ago so pet owners can sit and enjoy a gourmet cup of coffee while their dog is groomed. Many clients spend the day at Morgan Falls or a nearby dog park and then go to the cafe for an afternoon spa date.

With local art, shops, and snacks speckled all about the beautiful path, the BeltLine is a pet-friendly walking connection to all of the best corners of the city.

One of the East Palisades Trails, Whitewater Creek Trail is dog-friendly! Leashed dogs are welcome to join their owners on this hike along the Chattahoochee River. Owners and their dogs can wade in the water; however, they should be cautious as the water can rise and speed up quickly. Whitewater Creek Trail is open daily from dawn until dusk. Exact hours are posted at its trailhead. Parking is available.

• Centennial Olympic Park

Let your dog cool off in the Fountain of Rings, the world’s largest interactive fountain featuring the Olympic Ring symbol, and stroll by the SkyView Atlanta Ferris wheel. Pet waste bag stations are located around the park.

Monks Meadery is a dog-friendly brewery in Atlanta, GA. Monks is the oldest meadery in Georgia, and as such has perfected the creation of dry-style meads. Try their house-crafted meads like Dragon's Nectar, Butter Buzz, and Abstinence when you're visiting! Fido is welcome to join you at a two-top table on the outdoor patio, or inside the tasting room.

The Krog Street Tunnel allows leashed dogs to wander through with their owners and take photos or create a picture of their own. This extremely dog-friendly business venture is located minutes from the belt line in Atlanta's historic Old Fourth Ward and is home to on-site attendants, lights, cooling stations, dog wash stations, as well as outdoor TV's and WiFi! The park also features a 1976 Airstream converted into a full-service bar serving craft draft cocktails, beer, and wine.
